I cannot say enough great things about Steel Classic Garage! I’ve taken my mid-’50s Pontiac here a handful of times for different projects, and every experience has been outstanding. The crew listens to my goals, offers their expertise and recommendations, and communicates clearly throughout the entire process. It’s very clear that every team member genuinely cares about the customers they work with—as well as the cars they work on. Morgan Super3- not a common vehicle, a cross between a big motorcycle and a 1909 car with a distinctive 50s space vehicle vibe. Nobody here works on Morgan. But these guys do! Even the three wheelers. Special gear box oil- check, special crank case oil, done, filters for oddball Ford 3 cylinder motor- not an issue. In and out same day, which I hardly expected. Derrick, the owner, remembered me from a phone call nearly a year ago, before I brought this vehicle to Texas. Brendan handled intake and delivery- smooth, I felt very assured. These guys can handle your special car needs and work on regular ol' iron as well. Thanks, Guys!!

As someone who's been burned by shops, finding this place was a game changer. They've never oversold me on work that didn't need to be done, and every time I've picked up a car it's been exactly what they said it would be. No surprises on the bill, no new mystery problems. That kind of straight-shooting honesty is rare. If you've got a classic, a project car, or just a small repair, these are your people. Highly recommend!

I called to see if they could work on my 1979 Ford Ltd 2 that had a seized engine. They were able to get me in quickly and to take a look at it to see if it could be fixed or if it needed replacement. They got back to me the same day I brought it in. They were very helpful in going over everything and I appreciated how quickly they did it. I ended up not going with the work but it was very nice to have a shop that wasn’t afraid to try, especially with classic cars.

I had a great experience with Steel Classic Garage who recently worked on my 65 Mustang. The car was coming off a fresh restoration outside TX and I needed a local shop to do a bit of work dialing in the timing, addressing some leakage in my exhaust system, installing a couple of seals, and ensuring the car ran well when the AC kicked on. I called the shop and had a long conversation with Brennan who suggested I bring it by and we could create a list together. He gave me a ballpark, fair estimate for the work and I agreed I would bring the car back to him when they had an opening in the shop - about a week later. Brennan called when they were ready. Two days later, I picked the car up and it has been running flawlessly since. They even found a few additional items they buttoned up while it was there. Even better, the actual bill came in under the estimate (when does that ever happen?!?). I appreciated the fact they were willing to walk me through everything, share why certain options were/weren't good ones, and took very good care of a family heirloom coming over a fresh restoration. Next up, we'll be lowering the car and dialing in the stance with coilovers and new rear suspen
